Here is an advertising jug for Boots The Chemists 'Old Fashioned Brewed Ginger Beer'. It probably dates from around the 1970's when copies of vintage advertising jugs were popular and home brewing kits were available from Boots and also extremely popular. This jug holds a good two pints/one litre of ginger beer. Of course you could use it for other purposes and it would look great on display. The jug is in an off white glaze with brown lettering and has a gilded rim and line down the handle. The design is on both sides of the jug. Marked to the base in the old blue logo Boots the Chemists MADE IN ENGLAND.

SIZE: Height 17.5 cm/ 7 inches; diameter 11cm/4.25 inches; Capacity 1 litre/ 2 pints
