Here we have a salt and pepper set from Carlton Ware in the shape of shells and hand painted accordingly and matt glazed. They sit on a black glazed tray with insets. The pepper has a group of seven holes and the salt one hole for dispensing. Marked to the base CARLTON WARE England and impressed with the issue number of 2635.
