RETRO J & G MEAKIN ROCK FERN (1970s) COFFEE SET ON THE TREND SHAPE
Here is a 1970s coffee set from the renowned manufacturers J & G Meakin. The pattern is called Rock Fern and was first introduced in 1958 although on this Trend shape (c.1979) the design has changed completely but still kept the same name. This was quite commonplace. There are two colourways for this design and this set is cream with green fern leaves. It consists of a coffee pot, milk/cream jug and sugar bowl, six cups and six saucers. A fabulous shape, colour and design. Marked to base ROCK FERN DISHWASHER SAFE OVEN TO TABLEWARE MICROWAVE PROOF J & G Meakin ENGLAND.
