1960s TONI RAYMOND POTTERY HAND- PAINTED FLOUR STORAGE POT
Home — Kitchenalia — Storage jars/containers
A fabulous piece of studio pottery by Toni Raymond dating from the 1960s and hand-painted in olive green and brown bands on a white ground. It has a floral/leaf design painted in brown and dark brown to each side of the scribed Flour. It has a wooden lid with a rubber seal to keep flour nice and fresh. A superb piece for a Toni
Raymond collector or lover of quality retro kitchenalia. Looks great on display. We have a Rice storage pot in the same design and colourway although there are slight variations in the leaves and colours since they are all hand-painted. This is the uniqueness of Toni Raymond pottery. Marked to the base TONI RAYMOND POTTERY [symbol of flying goose] HAND-PAINTED ENGLAND. There is also a letter L painted to the base.
SIZE: height 16cm /6.3 inches

CONDITION: Very good. There is light crazing consistent with its age which is hardly noticeable on the outside, more so on the inside. A couple of small areas less than 1cm square where the lacquer has scuffed on the lid. Otherwise the lid is actually in very good shape.
