1950s BLACK AND GOLD MAP OF SCOTLAND WOODMET COCKTAIL/SERVING TRAY
Dating from the 1950s is this gold-tone and black anodised aluminium, cocktail/ drinks tray by the renowned Woodmet. It shows a map of Scotland and five tourist attractions around. They are Dunvegan castle Skye, The Cathedral Iona, Glascow University, Balmoral castle and the Scott monument Edinburgh.It also advertises D C L active yeast which stands for THE DISTILLERS COMPANY LIMITED and was set up by the McNabb family as a distillery in 1746. It has four small pads to the underside to prevent it scratching polished surfaces. Marked to the base with sticker A WOODMET PRODUCT MADE IN ENGLAND
